Teaser Week Day 2 Sports and Leisure

What is a simile?
A simile is a figure of speech, when you compare one thing to another.

Similes:

As we were walking up Rangitoto, the students were so parched that their skin were dry as a bone.

As I was at the gym, I realized that my muscles are as solid as the ground I stood on.

Trying to move me is impossible because, I weigh as much as a plane.

Once a group of teachers entered the room, everyone was as silent as a turtle.
