Long Division

On the 3rd November, we were learning to use long division. Long division is a method that can help you solve or find the answer for a division equation or problem. Learning the basic steps of long division, will help you divide any numbers of any length, even decimals and integers. The first time I did long division I didn't get it at all, but when I got to try it myself I was pretty good at it. This symbol ⟌ means to divide. I show you guys an equation. 5⟌675 =135. Now that is long division.

Speech Marks

On my speech mark quiz, I got 10 out of 10(100%) on my first go.
I couldn't have got 10 out of 10 if I did not know, when, where and how to use speech marks. I'll show you an example.
Hey Jeff, what are you doing? asked Bob.
See how there are no speech marks. I'll edit that sentence and fix my mistake.
"Hey Jeff, what are you doing?" asked Bob.
Now I fixed my mistake and my sentence is better. See how the quotation marks(Speech Marks) are after the question mark. You always have to put your pucuation inside of the speech marks.
Now you know where to put the speech marks.

3D Shapes

This term we are focusing on Geometry. Yesterday we created 3D shapes using nets. I created a cone. When I was going to cut mine out, It looked liked that minion with the sirens on his head and ears.  I found it difficult because I couldn't make the cone stick together. A cone has 1 edge, 1 corner and 2 faces.
